How to Measure for your Custom Driveshaft

Download the worksheet to figure out how to measure your vehicle for the proper driveshaft measurements.

Some Tips:
  • The vehicle must be measured as it is to operate. Raising the vehicle without supporting the differential will change your measurements.
  • If your vehicle has a slip yoke, measure from the rubber transmission seal to the center of the rear u-joint.
  • If there is a flange yoke on either or both ends, measure to its face.
  • When you install u-bolts or straps do not over tighten them.
